Have you ever wanted to learn how to grow organic fruit and veg? Curious about the heritage of Victorian walled gardens? Or just looking for a friendly community where you can muck in and make a difference.

We are all volunteers, come and learn with us about organic, sustainable horticultural skills from seed sowing to composting. You will also get the chance to work in our heritage orchard pruning, picking, juicing and storing our apple, pear, cherry and mulberry harvest.

We work in an unusually large walled garden with three large poly tunnels and plenty of space for outdoor cultivation. We have exciting plans to develop a permaculture garden.

You can

  • Find out how you can get involved, whether you are a green fingered expert or a complete beginner
  • Meet our volunteers, we would love to show you around our beautiful walled garden
  • All tools are provided for those that want to get stuck in.

Come along at any time during our try-out session on the 30th May 2-6pm or on any of our volunteer working days, every Tuesday and Friday 10 – 4 pm.
