Wortley Hall Walled Garden is a restored Victorian kitchen garden about 6 miles south west of Barnsley and 10 miles north of Sheffield in South Yorkshire. The postcode of Wortley Hall is S35 7DB.
Since March 2023, the garden is being run by Wortley Walled Garden Growers which is a constituted community group of volunteers.
Our usual opening hours for 2024 during the growing seasons at Wortley are 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Our hours may be affected at short notice by circumstances such as weather, ground conditions and volunteer numbers especially from November to March and we shut down during January. We open at weekends when we can and will publicise these extra times on our events page.
