Our activities focus around four themes:
- Growing a variety of fruits, vegetables and flowers using organic principles.
- Volunteers working and learning together and benefiting from a share of the produce in a supportive and outward-looking community.
- Celebration of this beautiful part of the natural world and enjoyment of the benefits of working and resting in it.
- Welcoming the public and other groups and organisations to experience the garden, to buy produce, to learn and be inspired and to get more involved if they wish.
We also aim to minimise food miles and our produce will be shared appropriately between:
- Social projects
- Wortley Hall catering
- Sale to the public and local businesses
- Volunteers
